I actually think that if FB does create a way so that apps can see who my best friends, colleagues and other friends (or whatever class) are, would create issues.

It would create problems for the users. It would be very simple to create an app where you personally could see what class of friend your OWN friends have put you in.. (i.e. OMG Debbie has put me as ACQUAINTANCE.. I thought I was her BEST FRIEND)

At the moment, I don't know if I am on limited profile (you can sort of guess), and I like it that way. I do NOT want my friends to know how I class them. Thats only for ME to know...

Once that is done, I can then restrict things to my classes of friends. My friend can write on my wall about saturday night, without my colleagues seeing it.
